Our journey to the Yucatán began in 2019 when my husband Bill was diagnosed with Huntington’s disease. Faced with limited treatment options, we explored alternative therapies and discovered stem cell replacement therapy in Mérida, Mexico.

During our time here, Chelem—a charming fishing village 30 minutes north of Mérida—became more than just a destination; it became home. We found this to be one of the most loving and supportive communities we’ve had the pleasure of being a part of. The beautiful coastline, authentic culture, and welcoming spirit make this place so easy to fall in love with.

Bill has shown remarkable improvement, and we believe there’s nothing like the combination of good friends, fresh food, clean air, sunny days, blue skies, and swimming in the Gulf to enhance well-being.
